Pass through in corner on angle. How?

Recommended Posts

I would like to know if its possible to recreate this layout in chief architect. I know pass through windows work on corners that are 90° but do they work when they are at 45°? Or is there another way to achieve this.

Thank you!

Two "Pass " thru windows with casings & sill turned off. Sill at floor level "0"

Place on separate layer and turned off in plan view.

Thank you, that works at 90°, but does it work at 45°? I don't think it does

Sill at "0" see below.

Also this works with three walls but framing at header will need adjusting.

And to move them into the corner position do u just drag them to the corner? I can do that with the on on the right, but the left one will not snap

I pasted the pass through in-the problem is where it meets the other wall, used a psolid for that. Don't think there is another way around that. Then made room molding polyline.

You need to throw them both past the corner.

Thank you. Is there any trick to this? I seem to get either one or the other to snap to the corner, but not both. I just realized that it might not be exactly 45° but maybe a bit off, would that affect it?

Wow that looks great! Any more detail on how you did that? I will try to replicate it. Thank you! Is the pillar a psolid?

Two windows in the corner works in most angles  but more difficult when the walls get closer to parallel.
