ICTHOMES
Anyone else auto arrange with dual monitors hooked up? I've tried everything such as shutting off view auto arrange, align to grid, making sure video card is up to date so it does not refresh. Prior to the last update and/or CA not sure my monitors would not wake up, now this. So I get one thing resolved in time just to have another. I don't like W10 unstable since W7 IMO, but it has some advantages I guess like free security, syncs, etc... Irritating since I like all my CA, etc, arranged the way I want it. MarkMc
A web search will find a couple of ways (free utility, registry hack...) to solve it. http://superuser.com/questions/466661/how-to-force-windows-to-save-desktop-icon-positions http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=faq-DesktopOK&faq=18 http://www.askvg.com/fix-desktop-icons-position-and-folder-view-settings-problem-in-windows-10/ I use UltraMon for multiple monitors let's me save desktop icons location and restore just in case they go wanky. BrownTiger
Not everyone has ESSET antivirus, so I do not know if Mark suggestions will work for you... But if your windows 10 behaves weird [other than normal weird], run from the elevated command prompt DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Kbird1
I have been using ICU Config. for a few years now with Multiple monitors , not perfect if you have differing sizes but it works pretty well https://funk.eu/icu-icon-configuration-utility/
