buzzsaw204
i cant seem to figure out how to print to Landscape on my printer, in Mac OSX i have a HP DesignJet 130, that can print 24"wide with the paper on the roll. the setting i want is to print is 24 x 18", Landscape, which utilizes the 24" wide paper roll and would be cutting the sheet @ 18" long. my Layout is set up 24x18 Landscape and i have my Print Setting to Lanscape but when it prints, it keep printing Portrait, 18" wide and 24" long

Solution fcwilt Posted May 26, 2014 Solution Share Posted May 26, 2014 I have found that it often works better to print to a PDF and then print from the PDF to the printer. For me it was simpler to get the results I wanted - I guess the PDF printer feature works the same way as my mind - which some folks might find a bit scary. JLDrafting
CA printer set-up is only one of the two (or three) printer output settings. You also may need to set-up your printer in "Devices and printers" in Windows to match. If your PDF printer set-up doesn't match, it will have the same affect as your problem described.
