  1. I'm glad you got it all figured out Have a great night!
  2. Here's the cabinet. You can tinker with the settings to see what I did. Wall Cab.plan
  3. No, no, no, silly! Use a Wall cabinet! Open the cabinet's dialogue box, change that puppy from doors to drawers. Make sure they are the same height or the handles will look silly and bingo! You've got what you're looking for!
  4. What I did to get this look was to use two drawers. Maybe not the answer you're looking for, but it will get you where you want in a render.
  5. Does anyone have a FLOOR tile similar to the one in the picture. The tile in the picture was used in our spec house and now someone wants to see what it would look like in their kitchen before we order it, and put it in. I can't find anything in the library. Thank you for you time!
  6. Here's what I came up with real quick. Lol
  7. Has anyone done any videos on roof framing? When it comes to framing, I'm pretty stupid! LOL I can't seem to build my roofs the way my boss builds them in the field. I've got a lot to learn when it comes to roofs and framing. My boss tells me when use 2 x 10's for our roofs but when we get to the eves, they put a "notch" in it, cutting it down to 3 1/2" from 9 1/4" (See picture attached of already framed house) also attached is a pic of what I'm trying to accomplish. I really hope I am making some sort of sense. I've been working with Chief for years, and never really had to use the framing tools, but my boss would like to see what a roof framing plan looks like from this program. (He's Amish, so he's easy to wow) Lol. Thanks in advance, hopefully I've made enough sense. If not, please let me know! Take care!
  8. Here is a render of Unit 4. I regret my choices in finishes on this one. LOL
  9. Jason, I was bored this morning so I messed around with Unit 1. Here is a quick render. I kinda went a little Craftsman on ya with this unit. I feel like stained moldings scream 1980's so I painted them white and added hardwood floors throughout. I feel that it made it feel more open. What do you think?
  10. Lol I see that Joey got to it first. LOL
  11. CKD, This has happened to me many many times... If you click in the area of the sheet where the pdf was, it's outline is there, just not the pdf, then you can re-link it. I save everything to my desktop and then reorganize it into folders later and I always end up with the same results! Good Luck!
  12. I used to get ahead of myself when building my models and would skip the roof. Always had light bleeding. Now the minute I have the rooms drawn, I throw a roof on that puppy, and that always seems to "cure" my problem.
  13. Perry!?! Why don't you do more videos? LOL
  14. You know Chief should let you "break" stairs like cad boxes so we can just drag the darn things over the top of the wall to get the look you're going for. It would be nice if stairs were more versatile. Just my silly opinion! This is how we design almost all of out stairs!
  15. Happens to me all the time. I do the same thing Perry does. Just drag a new one in it's place. (Glad I'm not the only one this was happening too! Thought I was going crazy )
  16. If you attach the plan, I'm sure we can get this figured out in no time. Never had window or door casings disappear unless I accidentally turned them off in the specification dialogue box. I'm stumped at this point.
  17. Buzsaw204, that looks like an easy fix, just post the plan and I guarantee you'll have it answered by lunch!... Or whatever time it is where you are...LOL
  18. It would be nice to draw a cad line and convert it to a light. Like a rope light. It would work great for tray ceilings!
  19. Perfect that worked wonderfully. Thank you Michael!
  20. What am I missing here? Why isn't the sink flush with the bottom of the counter top? I don't normally have this problem. Problem.zip
  21. That's amazing! I love the brick. I can never get the arched windows to look right with brick on them.
