  1. Try this... http://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00884/ jon
  2. Get them aligned in an empty plan, then create a custom symbol. jon
  3. It's still there for me in 3.0.59, but much less noticeable than 2.0.47.
  4. Heck, I expect I'd get kicked off long before I match Perry. Glad I could help. jon
  5. Besides updating the NVidia drivers, did you configure them? For use w/Chief? jon
  6. Segment your project by stripping everything not in each camera view. jon
  7. David, it's the WMR that is not filling properly. Worked fine in 2.0.47. jon
  8. Wall Material Region in dormer no longer fills to the defined extents. This worked in 16.2.0.47. And no, I'm not uploading 220MB of plan, but I will give TS a trouble ticket. jon
  9. A good thing is when replacing images (materials) you are no longer locked into the original file type. Ergo, you can now replace a jpg with a png--or tiff, etc. jon
  10. This is a very functional office desk design. Although the cable routing holes are closed as I couldn't get more than one countertop hole to play nice while building it (Darned user error) Like anything I post here, use it as you wish--an attribute would be nice. jon Desk_Contemporary_78x33.zip
  11. I'm looking at the sun angle in relation to the North Arrow. Any point North of 23° 26' 16" N Latitude (Tropic of Cancer) will have a sun angle traversing south to north, not--as in this case--from north to south. jon
  12. I'm hoping that this is some user error that is beyond me... However, If I am located @ 33° N Latitude, then how can this sun angle be? Sun shining from the North West? Huh? I would need to be in the Southern Hemisphere, ya? What am I missing? jon
  13. Check your framing layer settings while in Elevation view. Or, post your plan. jon
  14. DS makes a nice box... Just swap out that K5000 for a Titan Black 8GB (no SLI. There is no benefit of CA w/SLI. Just like there is no benefit of a K5000 with Chief) and you have one screaming Chiefing machine. for under $10K Now that's a deal. jon
  15. Something w/Dual Xeon 2697v2--12 Cores per processor! Figure around $20K. Well, you asked. jon
  16. It gets noticeably worse the larger, more complex your model gets. I use a primary>offshoot workflow, and my primary models can get pretty beasty--upwards of 180MB (I know, it defeats the purpose of using offshoots). So, it gets noticeable on that first click into 3D or after repositioning in 3D. jon
