  1. Robert, this has never been a problem ..... until recently. I too have noticed that the ceiling plane draws about 2.5 inches lower than it should. I should report this bad behavior.... to sure if it started with X13 I agree with you Michael, I too draw the ceiling planes on interior face and not the exterior face.
  2. I will go back into the archives and get a pic of Lynn and I. Sorry to hijack your thread Bdillard.... at least Joey Martin (one of the best on the forum) answered your question.
  3. Dang it Perry, you guys are a great looking couple too. It looks like you lucked out with Penny.
  4. Lynn is coming with me this year. She retired on December 23rd, got a labradoodle on December 24th, I am now her 3rd priority after the grandkids and the dog. It would be great to meet up with you Joey. I hope you and you wife show up. EDIT: Again I screwed up by opening my mouth. Joey, please go back to the pic of you and your wife.... it really is a nice pic.
  5. Brian has said it is a dual monitor glitch with the apple products. I typically listen to Brian.
  6. A quick comment. Joey Martin and his Wife make a GREAT LOOKING COUPLE! BTW, Joey, you have not changed your picture in 17 years, are you guys still that great looking? What is your secret? I have tried exercising, eating better, getting more sleep.... it ain't helping me. I think I might start using a photo from the past century..... like around 1995.... that is when I met my wife...... at least half of us was good looking back then. Jeez, was it really that long ago?
  7. All I gotta say is mine is bigger than cool hand luke's
  8. I am not sure what the mystery is. Draw a terrain that is bigger than the two lots so when you do a overview, you see the two roads and the two lots plus they lots next door. If you want to then show the perimeter of each property line, copy the property line and turn it into a terrain curb and paint it red. Here I am showing the setback line but you can to the same with the P.L.
  9. "..... Today the common customer runs across super high quality renders and CGI all the time so they have no clue how difficult it is to produce great quality renders. ......" So true , so true. Back in the day, we rarely provided 3d renderings (too expensive, 400.00/render minimum back in the early '80's). For the last 16 years I have been providing 3d presentations, "'crappy RT's" in the beginning and now standard 3d's with lines on top.... and they are awesome, until compared to the great quality renders that take too much of my time getting the lighting and materials just perfect. Yep, it a whole new ball game. It would be super to get OOB high quality renders.
  10. I do not think you can build this window if you wanted inverted.....
  11. try this but what you will not be able to build is your window inverted (the window ridge pointed down instead of up)
  12. For this reason I do not have custom tool bars.... eventually they will get broken and I would need to reset toolbars, not worth the aggravation.
  13. Required attic ventilation is 1/150 or 1/300 depending on ......
  14. Ain't Larry the smart one. You still have the garage foundation and the other room. I went down to level zero and turned off the ROOF OVER THIS ROOM and you can see what you get.' ' you need to delete the rooms at level zero (or auto build foundations?
  15. I think he would like you to post the PLAN not PDF's If it is too big, use a drop box link, you will have an answer in about 38.2 seconds
  16. Hi Rene, those are some very nice PBR's. I am considering getting some training from you. We did a virtual meeting several years ago, and it seems as if I needed to spend a lot of time tweaking the materials. Is that still the case? Would you be able to help me do the PBR's in a couple of hours and if so, with the info you taught me, would I be able to spend a minimal amount of time tweaking materials to get PBR's similar to yours?
  17. Yep, and he could check the lateral force in case shear panel was required\
  18. Metal braces are used a lot to support overhang countertops, I assume the same can be done for the shelves.
  19. I checked the USE ACTIVE WINDOW SIZE box and I think it now works.... probably my bad......
  20. Hi Dermot, I didn't type in any number, I never have. I have left it as is. It is OOB. Maybe that is the issue, I need to change what the default setting is.
  21. Hi Michael, (num4,num4) is the hot key to export the pic. (for whatever reason, I have never had much luck with the knowledge base button) I never had this issue with the old Mac, I wonder if there is a setting somewhere that defines the number of pixels for the reported pic?
  22. Yes, why is it so big? How do I control the size? This is something I never had an issue with until I got the new Mac. So what is controlling the size? thanks Eric.
