select the wall and use the reverse layers icon on the edit toolbar , see if that is the issue? if that don't help delete the interior wall and draw down from the top to the corner ( and drag to line up 100% if needed as I did), Interior walls don't always matter for layers but generally you draw in a clockwise direction to get the main layer to the outside. It of course may not be a layers issue but I was able to do it ,using the same wall types as you. M

Works fine for me , did you draw the interior wall from the connection up to the other wall or down to the interior corner ? I ask cos possibly the wall layers are reversed? and chief will try to line up the "main layer" of each wall. M.

the snap shot above shows his Render Status , driver is 334.7 from Jan. it shows 3147mb of Ram so it must be sharing? since he says 1GB which is 1024mb. also notes simple square house with just a roof.....

No internet can be an issue as it was for me last year , no internet means the Program won't even open if it can't "Call Home" at least every 10-14 days.... not sure if that changed in X6? , Perhaps? but I think the Digital Locker is usable from Smart phones now , though wasn't last Yr when I needed this feature.

I'll leave the main question to others I have no experience with Sketchup , lots with HD Pro and now Chief but wanted to make Sure you knew that HD Pro was not capable of Ray tracing , that is a Chief Feature only. You'll also need to work with an Architect with the same version or newer of Chief, if newer though you wont be able to edit their Plan, just view it which may mean you need to upgrade once you find an Architect . The Current HD Pro 2015 = Chief X6. M.

Adobe Reader has a tendency to automatically set the Print size to 95% rather than 100% , i'd check that.... M.

did you try setting the stem wall height to 0" too ? along with the stem wall top = 0" M

strange cos the images in this thread show a Slab footing in Larry's other thread they show a Stemwall foundation.... Good idea how to use the same foundation as the house default (stem) and this Guest Room though ,......footing " = stem wall " settings

ahhhh yes it is probably using the default foundation from the house then, didn't realise there were two buildings. designate the Guest house a garage perhaps? Mick

You don't get Stem walls to play with IF you built a Monolithic Slab when you built the foundation as far as I know , so I'd say you used a Stem wall foundation by accident.

did you see post no#4 ? Brick ledge perhaps?

Looks to me like you built it with a Stem wall foundation with 16" footing and 8" wall not a Slab

Looks like you have the Brick Ledge Setting on ?

Don't use it a lot but I have always had to Ctrl-Drag it thru the wall to the outside after placing as far as I remember. I too ,don't remember auto chimneys Mick

Actually a very good point ..I also use PDF995 for many other programs as well almost daily.

This is true Lew , been a while since I saw that problem but I think I had to pull up or down to correct it then , and it all snapped back as it should of been. M.

in X6 under Build> there is no option for Fireplace ? no icon on the toolbar for same?

My Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman (trackball) has 8 programmable buttons and is probably 8 years old at least , I also have a number of their 4 button Marble Mouse (Trackball) but they are simple 4 button mice with no scroll wheel etc which is why I have the Trackman , wheel is great for zooming in chief.
