  1. I have had similar issues, but it appears to be hit and miss for me. Sometimes it updates ok and other times it doesn't. I say about 40% of the time it doesn't update automatically. Zoom doesn't change anything. I must open the window and close it to show up.
  2. I don't have my 9.5 version of CA, but if I remember correctly, each floor had its own file. So the floor 0 would be "floorplan.pl0", Floor 1 would be "floorplan.pl1", Floor 2 would be "floorplan.pl2"....and so on. The only file you attached is the pl1 file. It appears there are a couple other ".pl*" files that you haven't received. Maybe someone who still has 9.5 could verify as I don't have it anymore.
  3. I have 0 warning points also. I guess that is a good thing. Don't understand them or their purpose. However, if some do like it, then so be it. Doesn't bother me if they are there or not. I just look for advice people give regarding CA and try my best to return the favor when i see other's questions about CA.
  4. If it is what I think you are talking about, turn on the "edit object parts" tool and you can control individual CAD lines.
  5. I haven't experience a lot of issues with it. If anything, just functions things. Nothing that changes the plan itself. I use my windows version about 95% of the time while at work and use my mac for any quick looks I need to do if at home and subs have questions. I keep my files on my OneDrive (SkyDrive) and access them from there on my PC and Mac.
  6. I am jumping in the middle of this...but I think Scott is looking for the Chief ".plan" file and not the PDF.
  7. Here is my issue. I use a dual RCA 39" monitors. I work off of my left monitor and put my Library Browser on my right along with my email and Strucalc. Whenever I close Chief and reopen it, the browser comes back as shown in the attachment. What am I missing?!? It is getting annoying to continually drag it open and set it again each time I open the program. Thoughts?
  8. I have found the same thing. you can import almost anything except for roof defaults. Would be nice if CA could figure a way to that to happen.
  9. I have a Mac and a PC and things run fairly smooth on both of them. I am using the PC version at work, and the Mac at home. Like them both the same, but if I had to choose one or the other, I would lean towards the Mac.
  10. Thanks. that will help me at least keep things rolling on this project. I am still curious as to why it doesn't seem to function correctly, at least to me. I originally thought maybe it had to be with the second story.
  11. I am having an issue where my trusses are not extending all the way to the girder truss. At first I thought maybe the truss base was stopping it, but even without the truss base, I cant get my truss to extend. It stops at the valley of the roof. I am stumped. any ideas on what could be causing this? (there is not FDN as I deleted the FDN to make the file size small enough) Truss Problem.plan
  12. My issue appears to be working now, but I can't replicate the issues you are having. Must be the buggy mac version. I have a mac at home, I will trying it when I get home to see if I have the same issue.
  13. I am having the issue you were having prior to this. I can't get my library browser to open where it isn't minimized. I am downloading the update now, so maybe it will be different.
  14. Sorry...thought I had attached it earlier. Learning this new site. Stair Macro.plan
  15. I had rec'd a stair macro on here a month or so ago. Finally getting around to working with it. I am having issues with getting it to display how I want it displayed. The fractions don't seem to reduce and one doesn't calc out correctly. Any thoughts? I have attached an example.
