  1. Thank's for that Eric. I'll add to my Lib. That limits the use of Material regions.
  2. Well tile is "applied" to the drywall surface. Here in Florida a Mirror is "applied" to the drywall surface in a similar way. They use a black mastic applied to the drywall & the sheet of glass is pushed into it. I could use the beveled mirror but the glass is often not beveled. I'll look in the library. That is quite an involved process simply to align two walls
  3. Working with the little house I have two issues in the Master bath. One with the mirror crossing over two wall types. The mirror on the frame wall wants to sink into the drywall so much that it is not visible on the block wall. I aligned the drywall plane bet I could but maybe that is still the issue. I added a mirror on both areas but the line between them is too obvious. How do you align the drywall surfaces perfectly? The other issue is the corner in the dropped shower. The wall tile material will not join in the corner. Thanks for any enlightenment Gulfport.zip
  4. I don't understand their reluctance. AutoCAD has exposed almost everything. That includes VBA, VB, C++, Java, Pearl, and a host of other languages professional programmers may prefer. That has existed for decades, yes decades. I for one do not get their business model. They spend too much time on the occasional user
  5. It is shocking how weak Ruby is in its current state. Just more evidence that the developers are more interested in casual users vs the professional users that could benefit from more versatile tools. You should be able to build a macro that can detect which room it is in. Thanks for all the help to figure this out!
  6. Yes, changing to Level 1 eliminated the error. Is that a safe level to run all the time?
  7. Opened another plan and loaded the macro but message is slightly different.
  8. Thanks Joe, got the other files & put them in the folder. See the attached error, I reloaded the Ceiling json macro after deleting it.
  9. Joe, yours is still not working. Looking at the code cRequired = ["Float Class.rb", "Hash Class.rb", "DwgUnits.rb"] I only have Float Class.rb in my Scrips folder
  10. I think Eric nailed it with the "Owner Object", so I have it working. Also why do the built in macro's work in Mtext & Text for room labels and this one won't?
  11. Well I started a plan from template, one room Got the following
  12. I've got both Mtext & a Text label, both evaluation error. So what is the issue with Mtext?
  13. I must be doing something wrong. If I manual paste the macro I get an evaluation error. BTW I added to my Mtext & Default room label and same error
  14. Loaded the Macro but it does not validate & is greyed out. I'm still finding my way with these macro's. No rush as I;m putting out fires on another project this morning.
  15. Thanks Joe and have fun. That's what it's all about.
  16. I have the Yearly subscription json files but do not see %Ceiling Height Label% macro What is the name of the json file that contains that? Was it a separate purchase?
  17. Here we are on 2017 & I see no way to display my Mtext label of ceiling height in Feet & Inches. There are threads way back in 2011 talking about this shortfall. I work in inches so the label displays in inches. Is there no build-in macro to convert inches to Ft'-In" ? My label %room.name% Ceiling%room.elevation.ceiling% I see Joe has a subroutine in his FloarClass.rb but I haven't a clue how to use it. It should be part of Chief.
  18. So did the take 90 minutes per scene?
  19. The bedroom is awesome. Very nice work on that project.
  20. Yes, that was obvious. My wife's shower points at the bottom of the door. So even with a wiper I still get some water getting by the seams. With that gap I'm sure there would be trouble.
  21. Realy like that idea, Would not work in my shower as the wife uses a handheld that when mounted sprays on the door.
  22. So you have a 1/2" gap below the door? I see the drain would catch most splashing
  23. Using the frame-less shower doors and a "no curb" style shower presents a problem. If the owner wants to place a mat, rug or towel outside the door when showering the door needs to clear the object while opening. You could use a shallow strip of marble, granite or tile as a threshold. I would think a 1/2" tall or less would suffice. The doors have no wipe or maybe a 3/8" wipe. Without a wipe the gap plus threshold would clear most bathroom throw rugs I would think. If the door has a wipe then the threshold height becomes critical. I was thinking a 1/2" would be a minimum height for the threshold. Mind you the shower is not dropped in some cases. Just a slope to drain starting behind the threshold. Just curious for your thoughts and experiences on this design. Thanks PS in my shower I use a strip of Travertine about 3/8 tall & a door with a wiper
  24. obstreperous Had to look that one up. Haven't been accused of that yet but I have deserved it a time or two.
