  1. Loaded the Macro but it does not validate & is greyed out. I'm still finding my way with these macro's. No rush as I;m putting out fires on another project this morning.
  2. Thanks Joe and have fun. That's what it's all about.
  3. I have the Yearly subscription json files but do not see %Ceiling Height Label% macro What is the name of the json file that contains that? Was it a separate purchase?
  4. Here we are on 2017 & I see no way to display my Mtext label of ceiling height in Feet & Inches. There are threads way back in 2011 talking about this shortfall. I work in inches so the label displays in inches. Is there no build-in macro to convert inches to Ft'-In" ? My label %room.name% Ceiling%room.elevation.ceiling% I see Joe has a subroutine in his FloarClass.rb but I haven't a clue how to use it. It should be part of Chief.
  5. So did the take 90 minutes per scene?
  6. The bedroom is awesome. Very nice work on that project.
  7. Yes, that was obvious. My wife's shower points at the bottom of the door. So even with a wiper I still get some water getting by the seams. With that gap I'm sure there would be trouble.
  8. Realy like that idea, Would not work in my shower as the wife uses a handheld that when mounted sprays on the door.
  9. So you have a 1/2" gap below the door? I see the drain would catch most splashing
  10. Using the frame-less shower doors and a "no curb" style shower presents a problem. If the owner wants to place a mat, rug or towel outside the door when showering the door needs to clear the object while opening. You could use a shallow strip of marble, granite or tile as a threshold. I would think a 1/2" tall or less would suffice. The doors have no wipe or maybe a 3/8" wipe. Without a wipe the gap plus threshold would clear most bathroom throw rugs I would think. If the door has a wipe then the threshold height becomes critical. I was thinking a 1/2" would be a minimum height for the threshold. Mind you the shower is not dropped in some cases. Just a slope to drain starting behind the threshold. Just curious for your thoughts and experiences on this design. Thanks PS in my shower I use a strip of Travertine about 3/8 tall & a door with a wiper
  11. obstreperous Had to look that one up. Haven't been accused of that yet but I have deserved it a time or two.
  12. Flipping the house to a new location may eliminate some of the electrical component problems I was having. I'll give that a try.
  13. One issue with my method is that the inserted electrical is disabled (dumb objects) and hard to edit in te future.
  14. Ken, The reverse command did work on this little one-story house just fine. I should have tried it. I did have problems in the past. Thanks
  15. OK, I figured out a method that worked on my little one-story house. Draw a center (mirror line) & change it to an electrical layer Turn all layers off except electrical & CAD, Electrical & Text, Electrical etc. Use the CAD detail from view to make a copy of your electrical only. Go back to your plan & delete all electrical. All on Layer set, Use Edit ALL & Mirror tool to flip the house. Back to CAD Detail, Select All, Ctrl X Back to plan and Ctrl Alt V All my electrical staid in place. I'm happy as a clam.
  16. generator Be sure to hit ENTER
  17. When I mirror a house & draw a reference line front to back and place it usually midpoint so I can mirror the house. Using Edit ALL and Mirror tools and most items do OK but the electrical is a mess. Is there any trick to making this work better?
  18. Checking with tech support I got this: I did raise the roof plane 1" & rebuild trusses fixed these trusses.
  19. I'll report it now & see what they have to say. Although they got a little pissy when I reported the "Match Properties" behavior.
  20. Does anyone know what causes the truss bottom chord to not trim? The sub fascias 5.5" & fascia is 7.5"
  21. So that may be the best approach is to have a separate text style for FILL ON. I use transparent on text and dimensions until there is a problem seeing it clearly.
  22. It only appears when moving the Dim, Is it from the Text & not part of the Dimension object. Is it turned On/Off in the text styles? And therefore a plan wide setting changing all text AND dimensions using that style? .
  23. You know the MASK is already there on dimensions. Just select the dimension to move it & the MASK activates, and when you deselect it the MASK disappears.
