I think they are getting the thin roof overhang profile but hiding the deeper structural beams/rafters. Either way, their work is outstanding.

Place them outside the cabinet when you drop them into your scene. Then use the plan view and elevation view to position them.

The instructions above call for the duplication of the arc line and then making a closed polyline object. To convert to a countertop, you need a closed polyline.

For construction documents and other vector based prints I use 144 dpi with good results.

I have not needed to do this before, but, if you create A as floor 2 does that mess with B as floor 1 and those messages that pop up about ceiling over this room bla bla?

Also (in the future), in ALDO or the Layer Editor refine the search for Locked Layers to see what your best guess might be. My white whale is Ceiling Break Lines

Having the lights on does not mean the camera will use them. That DBX I posted is from the camera that you are using. The default number of lights is lower than the 80 I am showing. If it is at the default, the lights in your kitchen may not be used in the render even though they are set to ON.

What is this set to? You might only be using a small number of available interior lights.

Select the object on the arc and then try this:

"I will take the 3D elevations and sections and convert them back to line drawings via the Cad Detail From View tool. " Are you using perspective camera views for your elevations or the Section view/ Elevation camera? By using the term 3d, it is unclear. You can take an elevation view and send that to layout or if you are interested in a world of pain, convert the elevation to a CAD detail and send that. Essentially, the workflow that you are proposing is not recommended. Perhaps one of your issues is that you have curved elements drawn/modeled with not enough arc segments. If you post your plan file with the question, this may be solvable with some troubleshooting.

With the variations of planes for the soffit, I would add a solid and solids for trim details at that soffit. But, I am lazy. There may be a more sexy automatic way to do it but, let's be honest, I am not that sexy.

Looks good. @Renerabbitt Did you copy repeat rotate (Photoshop) or did this get run through on online seamless texture creation tool? In the attached image I scaled it from the default 20" to 55" to help fade out the checkboarding of part of the pattern at this scale.

I use Rich text on a limited basis in Layout pages. The primary benefit is that if I create a table in a text editor (Open Office), which I will use for something like a contact list or data table, then when I paste in the Rich Text, the table is maintained. There is likely a much better way to do this in the current version of CA but I am lazy and slow to change. I need to get more robust with my use of Note schedules and will likely be able to abandon this method soon. The other use case for Rich Text is a line of text like " lowercase and then UPPERCASE BOLD"

Chief has a problem (or at least I do) with railing walls meeting at a corner of the house. A minor offset could fix it.
