  1. These two arrows are non connected but share an end point.
  2. In addition to posting the plan file a sketch is always helpful. For this issue I assign you a sketch of your hand
  3. @Joe_Carrick I have installed about 20 of the Zehnder systems and have a pretty good handle on the layout for the systems. If you want any info on methodology in layout, send me a dm. Alan
  4. I am not sure about Wisconsin but your distributor might be the guy in Colorado. I was in a pinch on a project to get rough finished and Small Planet Supply (Washington State) was not getting me the full order. I was able to get a few items from the corporate office in New Hampshire.

  7. @rlackoreNice, the larger Brinks unit is almost a carbon copy of the Zehnder in appearance. I did a quick check on the unit and it appears to be almost the same unit as the Zehnder. I have been using Zehnder but looking for alternatives to cut cost. This unit is about the same price. Have you seen any of these installed and in use?
  8. You can also save them into your library and then drop them in as you need to. I generally have all of my CAD details going to one page in my layout. I have a common group of CAD details on one .plan file arranged in groups to be sent as a page. This works well for me.
  9. Depending on the height of the parapet, on my last project my roofer ran the membrane roofing up the vertical section and then the only metal flashing was the cap on the wall. In my case it was a pretty short parapet but from an economics standpoint, this made good sense to me.
  10. Who are you drawing this for? My wife? because she lost her keys again and I need you to open up those drawers to see if they are inside. Maybe next to her phone?
  11. If the dimension is in that cabinet run, it is being stopped by the cabinets. Check out the help files for Bumping and Pushing for a more detailed explanation.
  12. Getting adjusted to a workflow for saved plans views is a 5-20 minute learning process. After you spend that time it will save you 5x on the first set of con docs based on what you are saying.
  13. Those posts above will get you symbols (3d objects). If you are looking for actual crash detection, this will not give you what Revit will provide in that arena. Chief is visual BIM but not actual BIM.

A posted plan file may not be worth 1000 words but it is at least worth 17 wrong guesses.
  15. @Ed_Orum Was that disclaimer written by an attorney? If not, I can write one for you that will be equally worthless if not more worthless (unless that means less worthless due to a negative detracted by an additive).
  16. The real time ray tracing/ rendering changes from 13 -15 are huge. But, it will mean that you may need a new computer or graphics card.
  17. What are your computer specs? Do you have the latest drivers for you video card? Those are not issues that I have seen appear for anyone else posting on this forum.
  18. The image cad blocks are one of those Items you may need to explode in order to change the line weight or color. Just an FYI.
  19. I have seen this quite a few times recently in X15. I am not sure if this is an issue with my laptop or if this is a CA error or my process? Anyone else seen this? This is a selection of 2 similar windows on different floors.
  20. Keep in mind, when you copy the house across, things might get a little wonky. Some items get placed on a plan might be set for "absolute elevation" where some are based on "finished floor" height. When you move it to the plan with built terrain, if things are funky, that is the reason.
  21. Hello Bernie, I am a seeking services voyeur but too busy to take on your project. I wanted to throw out an idea for you to consider on your plan. When the dishwasher door is open, it intersects with where you want to stand at the sink. Maybe you have had a design like this in the past that worked for you but it looks like it could be a problem area that could use some adjustment. Regards Alan
  22. Also, the subject line of your question is often important to garner interest. For this one, I really wanted to find out if Dave was here.
  23. You might need to move your roof display to the floor below to achieve what you are after. These icons/buttons will move the display of your roof planes between floors.
