  1. I did'n do that manually. I just changed the elevation reference in the default pole interface. CA fixed everything after that, I deleted the irrelevant markers.
  2. Nice work on the details.
  3. Hi Solver, Here is a manually created keystone and inserted by dragging into place. The automatic keystone window treatment would be great if we could edit height, width, depth and inset distance. Doug
  4. I have a small job to do that needs a keystone window lintel. I searched the topics, but didn't see anything that referenced this topic. If it were just a few windows I would do each one manually, but there are quite a few to do. Here is an image of what the client is looking for. Doug Norton Whitby Ontario
  5. By my support you are referring to asking for this feature in CA? I am certainly in for that! Thanks for you help. Doug
  6. Well ok then. lol. I will give it a try. It will give me a boatload of cross sections to boot. Thanks for the tip.
  7. but that means two cameras for each and every column grid pair doesn't it?
  8. I am working on a project that requires the plan view of each floor to have a reference grid that intersects at each column. Is there a easy way to do this where each grid has an alpha callout at the top of the layout view and numeric callout along one or both sides. Doug Norton Whitby Ontario Canada
  9. Doing a bit more research I discovered this in a video. What does this do for cross sections from the cut slider? However that option seems to be missing in X10. Does anyone know why?
  10. Here is a view of what I am talking about
  11. Hi Solver, I am talking about doing a cut in a perspective view. I sometimes include some views for clarification on a detail to a framer or some other trade. Doug
  12. Is there a way to have joists, rafters etc show as having a solid fill rather than hollow geometric shapes in cut views? Doug Norton Whitby Ontario

    X marks

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback.

    X marks

What do the X marks represent? Anyone know?
  15. When I break the wall, and then try to drag it up, all of the garage walls go up with it.
  16. Hmm, I have tried that but no joy. If you have done it, can post the file so I can see it?
  17. Yes I tried that, it goes back to being the shorter wall.
  18. Angle Garage Addition.plan File added to see actual work in progress
  19. In the attached images, I am trying to get a uniform height in the foundation walls where the garage attaches to the house. The wall section in question defaults to the garage structural detail. Any comments would be welcome.
  20. Glenn, The idea here was a projection of an individual roof plane. Just imagine rotating the house so that you are perpendicular to the surface of the roof. That is what the contractor is looking for. One could then directly scale rafters along a ridge. This is a hip roof, not a gable roof. So he is looking for a rough cut list for each hip rafter. I see his point actually. Doug
  21. So here I am again, back at the fountain of information. A contractor is asking for flat projections of roof plans to assist his carpenters in laying out the rafters. I can see how to do elevations, and I can see how to do plan views, but is there any way to do a skewed plan from horizontal projection or section for that matter?
