telkwabuild
I have built a post and beam structure in the program, and would like the siding to cover the beams on the exterior. How do I do this? Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks in advance for your help! You still need to define a room. I think you should build a wall type the thickeess of your siding and define the MAIN LAYER ON THE INSIDE OF THE SIDING. the key is you still need to define a room with a wall, how you define the wall is up to you. joey_martin
I haven't tried, but would the material region tool for a "skin" added to the post & beam structure?
DRAWZILLA
You can change the beam material in the post to beam wall DBX

This is correct and what I would do as well. And actually, depending on the situation, I would even build a wall thicker than my siding if you're planning on adding any sort of wall between your posts
