capitaldesigns
I'm new to CA. I'm using S-7. I'm designing a detached accessory structure with an open beamed ceiling. The client wants to use 1x6 T&G sheathing for the ceiling finish. In the materials menu of the roof planes specifications I changed the sheathing to plank decking. When I view the model in the perspective view the planking runs parallel to the rafters. How do I rotate the planking so that it runs perpendicular to the rafters? Thanks, Mike
Mark3D
Use the rainbow tool on camera view go to texture tab rotate 90 degree
capitaldesigns
Will this only rotate the material for this project? Or will it save it rotated back to the original library?

Dennis_Gavin
o to the material and make a copy of it running the opposite direction and add to library. You will then have both directions available.
TheKitchenAbode
Just remember that if you wish the material orientation to show properly in all view & camera types you need to change the material rotation in both the "Pattern" & "Texture" settings in the Material DBX.
