What Causes The 'floor Height To Be Grayed Out?

Recommended Posts

Your flr is being supplied by foundation room below; so that is where you spec the flr hgt.

Thank you so much for taking your time Jim.

I see what you're saying and it fixes it and so it seems if you have monolithic slab foundation checked but no foundation built you can change floor heights? Also I have a combination of stem wall and slab, is that the issue?

This is actually new to me. I just created a new simple plan and it seems to act differently.

Larry,

All I know for certain is when I see a value grayed out, it is being controlled elsewhere & go from there.

I usually see it w/ cl'g hgts caused by room abv.

...in the structure dbx. Could have sworn I just set negative floor heights in another plan but this one has the floor height dbx grayed out. Stumped again by the structure dbx,

Larry,

Did you resolve this issue?

Were you trying to lower the elevation on the back houses?

Just truing to understand for my own knowledge. I change the floor elevations but I'm not sure if I was doing what you were trying to do.

Larry, try going down one level to the "0" level and change the slab height there. I believe once you have a foundation plan then you can adjust it there.
