decorators3
I'm trying to create a Saltbox-style roof similar to the one in the attached photo. Would this require different roof pitches on each side? I'm considering a vaulted ceiling on the second floor, but I'm concerned that the longer, steeper roof slope may interfere with the second-floor space and structural framing. Has anyone created this style of roof in Chief Architect? Any suggestions on the best way to approach it would be appreciated. thanks
NRST8TRKR
Hello, Last time we built a Salt Box we used the same pitch front and back. It has been quite a few years though. Have a great day,Ken
CharlesVolz
That is the same pitch on both roof planes. Follow the horizontal lines of the siding from eaves to eaves.
