mtldesigns
I don't know about where you all are, but here in the panhandle of Florida, having permanent LED lights (like ropes I guess) installed all around the houses soffit is a thing. Yu can change the colors year round, and as my neighbor does, keeps his white for security. Anyways I have a request to add this to a home that has multiple levels with different gables, planes, etc. Any suggestions on how to make this work? It also is considered one fixture.. PitMan71
Would an emissive poly line work for what you are trying to do?
DBCooper
You could just use rope lights as long as you don't need to go up at an angle (like to follow a gable). Rope lights can only be in a horizontal plane. It would be nice if they could follow any path just like a molding polyline. Other that that, an emissive molding polyline might work although it will glow the same all along the path. Maybe you could use a symbol for the molding that had alternating parts set to emissive? Joe_Carrick
Maybe a "Distribution Line" ? The light fixture would need to be "ceiling mounted". I think that woul work. Edited 4 hours ago by Joe_Carrick
