Tdgdesign Posted yesterday at 05:20 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:20 PM Hello All, I am running X16 and my machine exceeds all the baseline specs. Drivers are all up to date. I have been getting the dreaded "internal rendering, blah blah" error. This week, while on a live Zoom with clients for a huge project it happened. Clients were not impressed. It was incredibly embarrassing and down right unprofessional. So I finally decided to call tech support - they had me change a few things and said "good to go". This morning while working on a different project - boom - it happened again. I hate upgrading versions in the middle of big projects but can anyone tell me if this problem has (finally) been resolved in X17? Thank You
builtright3
I have X17 and until you just now said this I realized that evertime my system shuts down on me its when Im working in CA. So I guess it may not be my computer thats the problem, could be related to CA

That would be my first thought on this. You might try to roll back your driver to see if it helps. Otherwise, I find Chief pretty stable.
Dominic900
I agree with JKEdmo. Chief has been very stable for me (x17) so far. I upgrade my GPU driver ever 4 months or so or until I know for sure that there has not been any or very little issues with Nvidia GPU drivers. I hope that this info helps you.
