jtcapa1 Posted January 20 Share Posted January 20 I'm needing to create a custom set of cabinets that lives underneath the stairs, but I was wondering if anybody with rabbit ears has a simple method for changing the tops of my cabinets to fit or align with the slope of the stairs? MarkMc Posted January 20 Share Posted January 20 (edited) Here's a plan with some ideas on how to do that. Plan is old, originally in X13, and don't remember for sure how I made the door. Might be with the wall cabinet on the floor. Nowadays I'd make the door from a countertop with molding added, convert to cab door symbol and rotate. Taking a detail from view of elevation of stairs is the easy way to get the angle to use. DBCooper Posted January 20 Share Posted January 20 Angled top cabinets are not very easy since Chief is not designed to build them. For your situation, you could try just using a normal door. In the picture below, I made it "triangle arch" top and made it "right arch" instead of angled on both sides.
