Dimension "+"'s Clutter my drawing

Is there any way to turn off the "+"'s created by some dimensions? I know it's an indicator showing what is being dimensioned to. In tight spots it can get kinda cluttered. See attached.

I believe you mean the point markers.

Don't use Point to Point dimensions. Read up on dimension defaults in the help (F1 key)

Those point markers mean that you are floating a dimension in space rather than snapping it to something in (real) CAD life.

if I have to use point markers to fake a dimension, I will put the point marker radius to a small number. they can be problematic to select. you might have to hit tab until you select it

This is interesting. Thanks for the tip! As I grow with the application I am finding that success with Chief requires learning its nuances. There are just certain ways to go about certain things.... Not many ways to do that same thing. Dimensioning is a great example! Thanks again, this is super helpful.

It took me awhile originally to figure out they were not part of the dimension line. 

 

You can also, once you manage to tab through to get to them, notice the affected dimension will turn Grey in color. You can the click on the Grey number and type in a new dimension and it will move the marker to match.

 

I use this functionality all the time when I import an image of a survey and have to dimension walls and window wells to the property line as the image has nothing to snap to so ca drops a point marker
