Cutting Off A Moulding Line Portion?

I have a belly band, and have now modified the window configuration. The moulding polyline did not recognize the change, and I need to cut away a portion. I've broken the polyline on both sides of the window, but how do I delete that portion? Using the 'Edit Object Parts' tool deselects the polyline and won't let me select it again.

 

 

 

On the picture I've pulled out the segment to make it easy to see.

Select the part that goes thru the window, open the dbx, check "No Molding on Selected Line"

select it and use the new tool on the Edit Toolbar in X7 ,last one on RH side on mine , I was just using it on a room molding polyline so assume it works in your situation too.

Joe's way worked perfect, but I'm interested, new tool? Which one?

the remove from selected edge button , at least I thought it was new in X7 ? maybe it only shows for interior applications?
