jbur91
I've been having the same issue on all my plans recently with the Auto Rebuild Roofs feature. When I have two roof planes of different pitches joining at a hip or valley, Auto Rebuild Roofs will always extend the overhang of the lower pitch roof plane for some reason. Is there a reason for this, and is there a way around it that doesn't involve turning Auto Rebuild Roofs off and doing it manually?
Solution DBCooper Posted September 25 Solution Share Posted September 25 I think you have to uncheck "same roof height at exterior walls" to get what you want.
GeneDavis
Chief gives us SAME ROOF HEIGHT and SAME EAVE HEIGHT as options we can check for autobuild. Which do you want?
SNestor
Settings in the "Build Roof" dialogue control how roof overhangs are constructed when you have two roof pitches. You should set the lower roof pitch as your default.
