westvale
Anyone know how I could make this reeded glass partition with black frame in Chief? The glass style is not super important, but I'd like to get the frame, without having to resort to a 3D solid.

JKEdmo
I took another approach with an interior wall hosting a modified window. I created a skinny wall type with Insulation Air Gap as the sole material: This wall then hosts a full-height fixed window with settings to tweaked to mimic a glass panel. (I turned off casings, sill, sash, etc. and adjusted the frame width). Materials adjusted as required. Jim
scottharris
There’s a video on shower walls. Skip to 5:15 to see the frame glass option. 1

westvale
I was able to easily follow the directions from the video for the full height framed glass walls, however, I'm completely stuck on how to apply this strategy on a straight glass pony wall. I cannot figure out how to fix the glass going higher than the rail (and into the ceiling) and extending into the adjoining wall.
MarkMc
One problem is the intersection with the wall with door. Fixed that by dragging it through the pony wall while in an elevation, turning the portion to invisible., setting wall with door as "Through wall at end" To get height to ceiling open the railing wall used in the pony wall and adjust the height of the railing, need to account for floor thickness to get it right.
