Rashid_Garuba
Forgive me if this has been asked somewhere... I love the Layer Hider function.. Allows me to work like in other apps.. Quickly hide a layer I don't wish to see (quicker computing as well)... Problem is it modifies the active Layer set... Ho do I prevent this?.. Thanks
Kiwideziner
I believe that is what it is supposed to do. I dont use this function I switch layer sets.
Rashid_Garuba
You are probably right... interactions between some entities can change when some are hidden temporarily...
DRAWZILLA
I use the ALDO (active layer display options) now for that. Just select anything and uncheck the display in the layer-set, very easy and fast.
Rashid_Garuba
I look forward to that once I move to X7...
glennw
Rashid, The Object Layer Properties on the Edit toolbar works exactly the same (for hiding a layer) as the ALDO introduced with X7. It still changes the active layer set though.
