Looking for help to create Cupboard Latch for Kitchen Cabinets

Hello,

I have tried to find existing symbols of the cabinet latches (that everyone seems to want these days) online and cannot locate it.

Before I attempt to figure out how to create my own symbol of block, I figured I would ask to see if someone has been able to locate one online.

I have attached the hardware link to Rejuvenation for reference.

https://www.rejuvenationhome.ca/products/large-oval-cupboard-latch-05/?pkey=s~cabinet latch~48

I think I can create one by modifying a knob, but I'm not sure how I would be able to get it split in two?

The cabinet hardware options are not all that great and Belwith Keeler doesn't have a latch of this design.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Dawn

This type of hardware isn't really practical in terms of integrating into a cabinet. You would need to have a very custom element in order to have a catch that is separate from the latch. If you dont plan on opening the doors in 3d, by all means just make it a single unit and attach it to the door, but the catch will swing with the door if you open it

OMG! You guys are amazing! This is fantastic. Everyone wants the Rejuvenation latches on the decorative cabinets... lol

I'm realized that trying to spit to show an open door was ambitious, I just would like to have it shown on a closed cabinet, but you guys were able to figure it out.

Thank you so much.

I'll download the files and see if I can add it to my drawings.
