Interior roofs

I'm trying to design some interior rooms with roofs. I am pretty experienced with this program, 30+ years, but this task eludes me. I need a thatched roof over a bar inside a 12' ceiling and also a 10' x 10' Crooked House being used as an office inside the 12' ceiling. This is a jungle themed clubhouse design and trying to create that outdoor feeling inside. Any help would be much appreciated.

You could create them in a separate plan and bring them in as symbols or using reference display.

DB's suggestion is a good one, but you could also do it as a solid and apply materials to it.  Create several layers of the solid (one for each material required) and then apply the materials.  You can then change that to an architectural block and orient it as required in your model.  The advantage to DB's solution is that all of the layers are handled by the DBX along with materials.  Converting it to a symbol keeps the different materials, so those can be edited as required after the fact.

Thank you for the replies. Looks like it's not an easy task to create a room with a roof inside a room.
