Thank you for the replies. Looks like it's not an easy task to create a room with a roof inside a room.

I'm trying to design some interior rooms with roofs. I am pretty experienced with this program, 30+ years, but this task eludes me. I need a thatched roof over a bar inside a 12' ceiling and also a 10' x 10' Crooked House being used as an office inside the 12' ceiling. This is a jungle themed clubhouse design and trying to create that outdoor feeling inside. Any help would be much appreciated.

Got it. Thank you. I will read through your first message with proper instructions. I set it in the dimensions tab but not the default tab. Did it in both and now I'm off and running! Thank you again!

I have this checked off and it is still dimensioning to the start of the walls. It also doesn't allow me to drag the dimension to the center of the wall. It skips from one side to the other. They are 2x6 and 2x4 default partition walls with 1/2" sheetrock each side. ???

I have this checked off as interior wall centers but the automatic dimensions still go to the start of the walls. If i try to drag the dimension to the center it skips to the other side.??? Frustrated already!

Just upgraded from 9.5 to x12. Been using this program since the start. Working on my first design and have an issue: I cannot snap to centerlines of interior walls and the dimensions skip over the centers as well. I have the centerline box checked for interior walls.??? Any quick help?
