stair closure walls

This more out of curiosity than asking for help. Has CA resolved a way to close off stairs that cut through another room? I have been drawing pline solids since X10 and wondering if you guys do it another way. Example below.

That's what I do in these situations, too -- would sure love to not have to though!

I tried out a soffit yesterday and it seemed to work (if square instead of angle works for you, but it was also between two walls, so only the front had to be covered.

Walls set to cut by roof plane with a custom sloped ceiling plane works.  Or using custom stringers on the side the thickness of the wall also works in some cases.
