Adam_Gibson
I'm sure it's simple, and my poor old brain may have even done it, but why does the framing show through the roofing?
mgabriel
Looks like some kind of z-plane fighting. Check a cross section and look at the framing elevation relative to sheathing/roofing elevation.
Larry_Sweeney
This is in vector view---correct? I believe once you send the view to layout the framing won't show. I know it can be annoying. I usually just turn off those layers if possible in the view I'm looking at if possible. I'll be very happy if someone comes on and says there is a way to fix this. Solution Adam_Gibson Posted March 17, 2014 Author Solution Share Posted March 17, 2014 Larry, correct. The layout looks fine. I hadn't sent it there yet. Funny, I don't recall ever having this issue in previous versions.
Larry_Sweeney
I'm pretty sure it's always been this way. At least since v10.08 (2006).
DRAWZILLA
Yes, its always been that way for me also, just send to the layout and its fixed.
AndyGump
I sometimes set the material of the roof surface to be about 1 1/8" thick. Then the framing goes away in elevation views. Might not be the best thing for some situations but so far it has worked for me. Andy.
