4/12 or 5/12 roof on ranch style home?

Does CA make a roof look flatter than it really is in 3D?   My designed roof was 4/12 but now I think it would look better if I went with a 5/12 roof.  I don't want the house to look like a manufactured home.  Here are some screen captures of the house/garage and barn with a 4/12 roof and a 5/12 roof for comparison.  What would you do?  2145131762_412roof.thumb.png.d2781c42c7ed8f96f4a34f3a89155247.png740170268_512roof.thumb.png.6da6da593f31d47a190577680e74cca8.png

Yup, that's Perspective for ya!

Changing the Field of View can reduce that effect, too.

Ex: 30 vs 90 (default is 55)

That made a big difference.  These screen shots were taken with a 10 degree field of view.  The 5/12 roof looks too big from this view.  Will someone give there opinion on the 4/12 versus 5/12 roof look?

4/12= manufactured homes in my mind. I try and avoid that pitch, except for the exquisite modular homes I do , because any higher wont make it under the bridges when it is on a truck :D

but your 5:12 does look like a lot of roof.  I might raise the heel hight or change the pitch over the deck so it is broken up

but I prefer gables personnaly, so take my opinion with a grain of salt

you could put some skylights in there to break it up

or hip the ends for less roof
