ChiefJeet
The image shows a cad drawn structural lintel in a section view. Is there a way of embedding this within the door or window specification so it is automatically drawn? Thanks in advance
Kbird1
If you mean in the Shape of the RED Line? then no, if that is a common UK Header for what appears to be a double layer masonry wall? you would need to ask Chief to add it as a Feature Request. Doug_N
Just out of curiosity, why would a structural lintel have that shape? It seems counter intuitive to me.

I assumed the Bends are needed for stiffness and the slope was to help run any moisture to the outside of the wall to the weep-holes but Jeet will need to confirm ( or not) ..... A clearer example from a random UK supplier site showing the moisture run off and weep joints:

Doug_N
After seeing the illustrations, now I get it. This serves as the brick lintel in place of the angle iron lintel used in most of North America. Interesting.
VHampton
That is interesting. It appears to be the ideal flashing method at the openings. Never seen it before. Regarding the question, the flashing could be illustrated a couple of ways. Either with 3D solids or moldings. (They would probably show better in cross section views as solids.)
