Good morning,

I've drawn a 2 storey with a set of stairs that has multiple landings and an open to below from the second storey to the basement. I've watch a video from DS Hall on youtube. It's help me tremendously. Now I still am facing with a couple of challenges with the railing not behaving properly and placing a closet on the landing. I've attached my drawing file for you guys and gals to have a look hoping that one of you can help me. I want to get those stairs working perfectly before I can continue with the rest of the design.  I wanted to attached my drawing file but for some reason it's too big.

Thanks!!! :)

Annik

Scott,

Do you think that problem occurred because of the landing not being the same size as the floor thickness, therefore it created  riser variations?

Absolutely not.  The reason it happened is because he defined the top riser of the stair.......... that is the problem with stairs I think,  if you want to define the bottom of stairs...easy peasy,  if you want to define top of stairs,  not so easy because you can only define the TOP TREAD and not the TOP OF LANDING that the stair connects to.
