Set up .plan for full size 1"=1"

Sounds silly for an architectural program but I'm doing wood carving + want to draw a pattern

.plan files are 1"-1". When you go to print you need to adjust your scale. You can send to layout and print at 1-1. If you are printing directly from the .plan file, I would suggest changing your methodology.

Do you have a question?  The default is already at 1:1  you scale it when you put it into layout, or if you draw it in something else manually.  By default you are already there.

oh yea. when I import a 9 inch pdf + the the image scales to 34 ft all I have to do is divided by 45.33. The idea pdf changing the dimension scale was throwing me off. thanks

Select the pdf and use the resize tool on a known dimension.

 If there really is not much editing involved you might want to consider skipping the plan file all together and import directly to layout.
