gene1472
1st time working with a curved roof. My problem is when I mate the roof planes, they show mated, but in plan view and 3d view there is an opening in the roof. I am at my whits end on this. What am I missing here? I have attached photos showing the roof planes in question. I appreciate any and all input.

glennw
OK, I think I follow you. Your main roof on the left is made up of 2 roof planes, the lower roof plane having a concave curve into the gutter. You want the roof plane on the right of the main roof planes to intersect with the main roof planes (including the curved one). As Eric says, it would be a lot easier if you post the plan. Chopsaw
Try selecting the "thing" sticking through the roof and see if you can identify it or use the delete surfaces tool to see what it is.
glennw
Trim the plan down so that it only has the basics like walls floors and roofs. Or zip it up.
gene1472
Good morning. Thank you for the replies. I had to leave a little early yesterday. I will copy the plan and trim it down to the basic necessities.

robdyck
Take note of all the data of the curved roof plane. I used a screen capture tool. Delete the curved roof plane. Draw a new one.Re-join and the problem should go away.
robdyck
You will end up with some crown molding from a room roof sticking through the roof. Plan is attached with the correction. You should be able to copy / paste the new roof plane into your plan. 1761198212_Curvedroofissueplan.plan
gene1472
Thank you very much Robert!! I tried to recreate the roof plane myself before copying / paste, but I must still be missing something's it did not work. It was better, but not exact. As a result I ended up copy / paste (ing) your roof plane. THANK YOU so much!! Here is what it looks like now, it worked perfect.
