mcrump
I have a structural engineering note in my user library. I want to edit the text so I explode the note. Once I edit the text I have no options to re-block it or to re-save in to my user library. Am I missing something?
tommy1
Draw a marquee around it to block it. then you can save it to the library.
mcrump
Thanks Tommy. It makes no sense that one has to do that just to block some text, so go figure.
DRAWZILLA
You can also make a Macro of it ( very simple to do), Then when you want that same text, just insert the macro. Also if you need to change the text, change it and every instance of it will change also automatically. This is very helpful for notes you use in every plan.

glennw
Draw a marquee around it to block it. then you can save it to the library. Or...select it and then Shift Select it again.
simonas
Is it possible to open block, make changes and save it back? Or it's necessary or explode and save it back each time

Or it's necessary or explode and save it back each time If you try it, you'll find out real fast. To answer your question, do the last.
