DianeP 11 Posted November 12, 2020 Any suggestions on how to modify a material so that I can create this effect. I have created a 2" reveal and a 7" reveal, but never one that alternates between two sizes. Thanks!!!
solver 1564 Posted November 12, 2020 Use an existing material. Edit in an image editor. Use the new image to create a new material.

solver 1564 Posted November 12, 2020 Probably any one will work. The one I use is very basic and 20 years old. You should have some version of Paint on your system.
DzinEye 265 Posted November 12, 2020 GIMP is free and very good...not particularly easy per se... but lots of YouTube videos to explain almost anything.

DianeP 11 Posted November 12, 2020 Well darn, The above options work in the 3d perspective views for the materials, but the pattern is still single lines 7" apart in the vector and 2d views I send to my layouts.. Anyway to get the pattern 5" and 3" for the 2D views? Thanks for all the great ideas!
