RobUSMC
I have a small project. A client already has a backyard gazebo with open rafters with T&G decking. He wants me to build a small work shop behind the gazebo and extends the gazebo roof over the shop so all matches. There will be 36" between the gazebo and the shop that he wants the roof to cover to create a walkway and a place to have his pool cleaning equipment. Ive drawn the gazebo and the shed and just drug the roof planes from the gazebo over the new shop. The shop will have a vaulted ceiling to match the gazebo but I don't want the T&G wood ceiling. I just want drywall. Is there a way to have two separate materials on the same roof plan? Or do I need to have two separate roof planes... One for the gazebo and covered walkway and one for the shop then connect them.

CAmichael240114
Use two roof planes the same pitch and structure butting up to each other. Select and change the ceiling finish in each roof plane as required
Kbird1
You may also be able to use the Room's Use Soffit Surface for Ceiling Setting for the T&G area...... Wall of Workshop made invisible here ( see Floor )
