Newbie here - using Home Designer Suite 2015. Seeking help from someone to make some modifications to the attached plan. I need to make the knee wall hieght on the interior finished surface of the upstairs rooms 24" from floor to ceiling plane. The roof pitch is correct at 10:12. The plan in general is decent, but htere are probably a bunch of details that could be cleaned up. Happy to discuss fees. Thanks
Here is an interesting issue, (at least for me)... I drew this stairway and created the stair well but when I go to a camera view, the wall comes in at the floor level. The basement is 11" thick ICF and the main level is 2x6 so in real life there is a lip on top of the ICF wall going back to the thickness of the 2x6 wall. I can't figure out why when I draw it like this the lip actually comes in at the framing level of the main floor. When I look at a cross section it actually looks like a section of the ICF wall is slid into the stairwell at that level.
The floor trusses are 22". I have attached a picture of the project, I am already well underway with this, I am just trying to make some as built drawings so I can work on interior design stuff.
I can probably make due with it as it is but I am just wondering if anyone wants to try and figure out what I am ,missing here.
I want to create a vaulted ceiling in my Great Room. I want the Great Room ceiling planes to match (align) with the roof planes of the Main Patio. I have tried multiple times, using the ceiling plane tool to create the vaulted ceiling in the Great Room and I get a messed up vaulted ceiling. I must have a conflict with the roof planes over the Great Room, but I can't see them or know how to resolve the conflicts. I have attached my plan file, and would appreciate someone looking at it, and advising me on what is wrong.

I had posted this before and DSHall was good enough to post a reply, but then I clicked on a wrong button and deleted the whole thread by accident.
Mr. Hall, if you could would you please repost your solution along with the plan file? I tried your solution but couldn't get it to work. I must be doing something wrong.
Most of the building is a close estimate, but the top floor of the extension with the popup roof and skylights is new.
What I am trying to do is to make the wall in the highlighted area.

I need a little assistance with my soffit planes please.
As shown in the attached pic, the soffits seem to be floating and are separated from where they should be located. I must have checked a box in the roof defaults but can't find the source.
Related, I think is the fact that in 3D viewing the ceilings planes are non-present also. I'm assuming they are a related problem but maybe not.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.
