4hotshoez
I had used this beadboard texture before without a problem. I the vector view the pattern indicates a proper scale, but the Standard view shows the texture mapping at about 20 times too big and I have no idea how this happened or how to fix it. BTW this built-in bench was created and imported from Sketchup without problems before.
rlackore
The Pattern is defined and scaled separately from the Texture. Simply open the Material and adjust the size of the Texture map until you get the desired result.
dshall
Texture and pattern are two different things. It is behaving as expected. You must now go into texture and change the aspect ration of the texture....
HumbleChief
...except that the symbol was imported from Sketch up . Is there a texture aspect ratio in an SU model?
4hotshoez
So if I change it in one place, does it change it globally for all other locations?
xterix
When you import an object from sketchup, this brings its own material, the problem is when you want to edit it, change the material of chief architect, here do not happen to have the same scale, this is an ugly default compatibility with sketchup Chief and I also think about the scale of the object (1000mm in sketchup = 980mm in chief architect) it is best to import DWG xterix
kMoquin
So if I change it in one place, does it change it globally for all other locations? Yes it does. If you want the texture to be unique you can make a copy of it in the plan materials dbx (Shift-V)
