MPhillips
Gentlemen, I have placed a dishwasher in a cabinet, and it fits fine, but when I do an interior iso, tt move to the back of the cabinet. I pull back into place, but it moves on its own back to the translated position. I have included two screen snips showing the problem. Does anyone have an idea of what I am doing wrong. tommy1
I can't duplicate your problem in X12. Are you using a downloaded dishwasher?
MarkMc
That is most likely a symbol origin issue which would depend on which dishwasher you are using? Some have the origins off, especially brought over from older versions OR imported. Which dishwasher? post the plan? open the symbol and check the origin. JonathanDonaca
Hey guys first time post but thought I'd share what I found to fix this!!!! After dealing with it for 3 projects the solution was so simple.. Click on the object, open the "Library Symbol for Editing" chair icon at the bottom, then look for the "Origin Offset". I set all of these to 0" and problem solved!!! Will not offset between plan and 3D Model.

Kbird1
2 hours ago, Steve-C said: Interesting. Thanks for this. Surprising that these are not already defaulted to zero. It is because the Dishwasher was "designed" to be insert into a cabinet via the cabinet DBX , not dropped on to the Kitchen floor then dragged into the hole with the Ctrl Key ...in which case you must "zero out" the symbol.
