johnny
What is the best way to show stairs on a floor other than what they are created on? Kinda like the "show roof floor above" for roof planes, is there a way to show the stairs on the next level? Thanks.
glennw
Three off the top of my head..... Open below room, Reference Display, (the normal way - or even referencing an external plan file) View To Cad, Paste Hold Position A bit depends on wether you want to show the stair on a floor above or a floor below. Thanks for the input - is there a way to "open below room" for an exterior stairs? Here is a quick snap-shot of what i am trying to get done. Obviously i am still working on the particulars of the ADU design - but i'd like to show the stairs on the upper level.
Kbird1
Reference Layer with only Stairs and Ramps Turned on perhaps? M.
glennw
External room build from invisible walls and open below - not my favourite. View to CAD will not interfere with the 3D model as the above might - this will give a similar result to a reference display which I think is probably the best method.
