Break Dimension String

There is really no "break dimension" command.

But you can delete a dimension from a dimension string, which will effectively break the dimension, but you will loose the one dimension from the dimension string.

To delete the one dimension from a string, draw over it with s dimension line.

When you say "draw over it" do you mean drag the handles to change the string to what you want?

Not true,  follow what Jim said,  you can break a dimension line into two separate dimensions.
