X10 to X9 file conversion

Is it possible to save a .plan file at an earlier version? (I.e.: X10 to X9)

I work with an interior designer who hasn't upgraded yet. I'm one version above her's and it has made collaboration difficult.

Nope.  Chief is not backward compatible.  This is true of almost all 3D architectural design software.  My recommendations are to either get her to upgrade, have you do your work in X9 for this one, or redraw as necessary...and in that order.

It's my understanding you cannot. I've tried before and even called support and they said no

you should still have x9 on your computer I know it would be combersome but do those drawings in x9 for them

I don't plan to do any re-draws, so I guess she'll have to upgrade. :-)

If She's paying I am happy to work in X9 please pass on my name

 

but seriously let Her know if She is going to upgrade to do it very soon, ie before x11 comes out next month or She will need to pay for a 2 year Upgrade instad of 1, ie about double the cost. ( doing it now gets her X11 too, due to SSA)
