rockyshepheard
I am able to place a piece of straight railing on my terrain (without any supporting structures like roof or floor). I can move it in the x and y axis, and rotate it. I cannot, however, elevate it in the Z.

glennw
You can do it by dragging the top and bottom of the wall (rail) up or down. BUT, you can't do that while it is a rail. Open it's dbx, uncheck rail, drag the top and bottom heights, check rail. Tommy may have a different technique.
tommy1
Glenn has it right. That's exactly what I told him. Since he is a very new user, I wanted to be sure he understood.
