Material bleeding through on door jambs

I am having trouble with some sort of material "bleeding through" my door jambs- please see attached rendering for the white material along the garage door and entry jambs.

It's a very common issue. The only reliable method I've come up with is to change the material of my main wall layer to the same as my door jamb. Smarter people may have a better solution.

Sounded like a reasonable work around but no luck- still coming through.

Odd that it shows on the entry door and garage doors but not the cantina door

I bet you do not have interior casing on your garage doors.  In regards to the other doors,  I have not a clue without a posted plan.

BTW,  I do not think interior casing should necessary for the garage doors for this to work.  A weakness in the  program.

Added interior casing and no more bleed through- an odd one indeed.

Yup.  A weakness, but some might say "une bug."

 

Worth reporting, I suppose.  Has it already been done?  Reporting?

I just came up with this issue, so thanks for posting the 'solution', or workaround for bug.

 

I also found that you could add the interior casing and simply set it at 0" width, which will then display as if no interior casing was used.
