olyconstruction
Hi Chiefs, My office does a lot of work with room areas to estimate pricing on projects. The only way I know of to display room information now is the room areas on the room labels. I am sure CA has a way for me to extract those numbers, like in a schedule, but I am not sure how to do it or where I can find that info. So is there a way for me to isolate that information? Can I export that info to an excel file with the room name? Where do I go to view the settings for room area calculations? All help is greatly appreciated! Thank you! olyconstruction
Oh this is is awesome! Thanks Drawzilla! Do you know how room areas are defined? Are they just within exterior and room defining walls? Is there a way to show the areas covered by rooms, like a color key with the areas outlined? Solution Chopsaw Posted October 26, 2016 Solution Share Posted October 26, 2016 I was going to ask how but Joe had the answer. Just select the Schedule, Ctrl-C, go to your Spread Sheet and Paste. It's that easy.
