  1. I don't have an answer for you but I'd love to have a Wacom monitor. I been using Wacom tablets for years and presently use an Intous 5 Touch. Almost ever time I've had an odd problem with my Mac, updating the Wacom driver or waiting for a new driver has fixed it. I'd contact the tech department of Wacom first and then CA tech assistance.
  2. Dishwashers go into a 24" base cabinet. Simply put a 24" base cabinet at the end, place the dishwasher in that cabinet. The end panel is automatic. If you want the end panel to be finished or with a fixed door, specify that in the dbx of that end cabinet.
  3. On my Mac Pro, the 3D redraws were very fast. I even placed the pool inside the house just to see what would happen.
  4. Don't use a corner cabinet, use an angled cabinet. Decide if you want one long cabinet to the right or two cabinets as I've shown in my previous post #9 Using two cabinets will allow you to adjust the toe space Revised plan attached corner_closet.plan.zip
  5. What if you make your filler cabinet look like #4.jpg and make it full depth?
  6. I want to thank every one for your help. I was able to get it to work. At first I couldn't click & drag. I found you have to drag the handle at the rear of the chimney. Placing the fireplace before you build the foundation shows a footer for the chimney. As you said, dragging the chimney up in 3D view took it through the roof. Thanks again everyone.
  7. I'm glad someone else remembers the early days of Chief or maybe it was 3-D Home Architect, the very early days. I know it worked at one time because I was always amazed by it. I'll try you method. Thanks for you help
  8. Just be aware that to program and label the keys takes a couple of hours
  9. Thanks Perry, May it was pre-Chief, which would have been 3D Home Architect. Oh well, I'll do it like you suggest.
  10. Interesting, it works on both my Mac Pro and MacBook Air.
  11. Did anyone else start with 3D Home Architect back in the 90's?
  12. Control + Tab will do it. Command + Tab will switch between open software programs.
  13. Broderbund owned the company back then and it ran on Windows '95, which was an upgrade from Windows 3.1 The chimney was basic, no chimney cap or flue liner, just rectangular outside walls of brick.
  14. Yes, there is. That command / icon does not place the firebox on the outside of the wall with only the face on the inside. Unless of course I'm missing something.
  15. Back in Chief Architect '97, yes 1997, Chief had a full masonry fireplace. It showed the firebox on the outside of the wall with the fireplace face and hearth on the inside. It also built the chimney.
  16. My XKeys are about six years old. I've never had a problem with them. I've used them with Photoshop, Lightroom and CA. It has 50 keys.
  17. You simple need controller software for the Razer. On a Mac, ControllerMate is compatible with the Razer DeathAdder, Diamondback 3D, Nostromo, Naga 2014 and Tarantula. ControllerMate can be programmed to any keyboard shortcut, you just have to make sure the input device is compatible. I use ControllerMate with XKeys for CA, it works very well. XKeys can be used with Windows. Since I'm on a Mac, I don't know of compatible software for Windows.
  18. Three more reported this morning, 8am eastern 7/24
  19. I reported four more this Saturday morning 7:20 am 7/19
  20. My Time Machine also uses Time Capsule. I just checked, I was able to see my CA Libraries back to Feb, 22, 2014 If you go back and they are not there, it's possible they were not installed properly. I don't know why. Open Time Machine now and check to see if they are there. Give Time Capsule a few seconds to bring them up.
  21. Set up "Time Machine" and back up to an external hard drive. Time Machine is the best back up system I've ever used and it's part of the OS. Libraries could be restored using it.
  22. On a Mac the CA Libraries are found using Finder > Choose your hard drive > Library > Application Support > Chief Architect. It should show Core, Bonus, and Manufacturer Libraries.
  23. I use it on a Mac Pro. Yes I've had crashes. I've gotten used to saving, rebooting and re-opening during coffee breaks & lunch. If you're not using Time Machine, set it up soon.
  24. This spam usually hits on the weekend. Since many here don't post on the weekends, I'll volunteer to be a weekend monitor. I monitored Nikon Cafe for a year. There are two right now (Saturday morning) posted late Friday night, "Beautiful And Attrive Body By This Supplement" and "The Gymnasium Putting Undercu"
