Did you try as I instructed above by simply opening it by double-clicking and hitting "okay" or "cancel". If so, what were your results?
-
@DzinEye @SNestor Not sure I did this correctly. Please let me know if you're able to load the materials. I threw away all, but the backsplash textures. Kevin New folder.zip

You're right. Forgot about that. I will export again, but will probably be over file size limit. Thanks.

@SNestor @DzinEye Finally! Here is the zipped file. Instructions above in an earlier post. Thanks for taking a look! Kevin CHF_REDACTED 08-07-20_PROPOSED.zip

I'll have to work on the file AGAIN. Hate this file size limit. I spend more time purging files in order to upload. I have it at 13mb, but now telling me the limit is 10mb. Please stand by. Don't know that I've seen this message before...

Hey Steve. That's what I said I was going to do and here it is. Go to full camera view "00". Don't move the camera. Simply double click on the piece of bullnose. When the dialog box opens, hit "cancel" or "okay". You might have to try it a few times with either "cancel" or "okay", but the texture will move. Really bad day to be quoting Joe! Thanks, Kevin

Absolutely positive. I sometimes have 11 or 12 copies of a tile pattern when doing a shower. The texture mapping is moving. I've been noticing this since I first installed X12. I'll see if I can prepare a sample file that illustrates the problem in a few hours and post.

Mark - thanks for the post. I'll read that link in a few. Kevin

This is a different situation - sorta'. Kevin
-
Mark - thanks for the reply. These are all copies of the original material and I am also aware of the use of global mapping. Something is definitely amiss here. How can one explain that the counter pattern changes too without any adjustment to the material. I swear I used this technique constantly in X11 and never had an issue.
-
I've noticed that when I use the material adjustment tool that my textures will move. I often divide my backsplashes into parts so that I can represent a bullnose piece at the end. The first image is how it looks after much work with the material adjustment tool. The second image is how it will appear after moving around in 3D space and coming back to this camera view. The third image shows what happens when I again use the material adjustment tool to offset an arbitrary distance horizontally. The fourth image shows the result when I undo the last material adjustment. It goes back to the proper place. I have been texturing backsplashes this way since I started and never had any issue with X11. This happens all the time and makes getting the texture location just right an impossibility. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks, Kevin PS - notice that the countertop texture has moved too even though I only adjusted the bullnose polyline solid.

Good idea Mark. That's definitely good enough. I can always place something over the opening if it needs clarifying
-
Robert - Thanks. That's a pretty good hack and no way you could tell from a distance. This is probably what I should have started with. Kevin

Mark - I understand. I should have been more specific. I got it to work. Thanks again. Kevin

The Eze Breeze Symbols look great and are sitting in the right place in 3D, but not on the 2D plan view.
-
Good morning, Mark - I am very comfortable with making symbols. I just don't understand how to get the plan symbol to line up with the 3D symbol in this case. The 2D symbol projects outside of the house. I attached the Eze Breeze 3D symbol I made showing the problem in the original post. I wasn't understanding Michael's explanation for how to correct the 2D symbol. Thanks!
-
Michael - thanks again for the post. I have no clue what you're telling me to do here. I've looked in the knowledge base and haven't found anything specific to creating window symbols. Can you point me to another post or perhaps a video? Kevin

Thanks Eric. Yes, that's what I was getting at in the original post. I guess I misunderstood what Mark was saying about being able to change these details without exploding the auto-dormers. Kevin
-
Mark - when I open the auto-dormer DBX, I have the attached choices to add a frieze, but I cannot change the size of it. The main roof is using a 1 x 12 for the frieze which is too big for the dormers. At the dormers I want to use a 1 x 6. You say you can choose a different roof type, but I don't see where it's possible to change the molding details. Am I missing something? Thanks, Kevin
-
Glad you pointed that out. I was thinking I was to use the explode block tool! The changes I want to make are to the frieze board styles. The standard frieze is too large to work at the dormers. Thanks again!
-
Thanks Mark. Appreciate it!
-
I've got several dormers created using the Auto-Dormer tool. Is it possible to convert these into editable parts whereby I can change the roof to something other than the default? Thanks, Kevin
-
Thanks Michael. I'll give this a go tomorrow. I appreciate the help. Kevin

I can't find much on this, but need to create a custom window to act as an Eze Breeze 4-Track Vertical Panel. I've been able to get what I want in a 3D view, but the plan symbol is offset by 4.5" and is protruding outside the rough-in. I know why it's happening as I offset the origin for the symbol to make it work in the 3D view. Had I not done this, the window in 3D projects beyond the building. It's like I can't have both in alignment. I have tried CAD Block Management to create a new 2D block and moving the origin, but it's not working. I'd appreciate any help with this. Attached is the symbol. Thanks, Kevin Eze Breeze 4 Track Vertical Screen Panel.calibz

Mark - yes, you're right. This was taken from the survey.
