I would like to toggle between "Select Crossing" and "Select Contained" with a Hot Key. Is that doable?

This is a non standard situation & I used a 3rd floor structure to allow me to create floor joist for the roof. But the skin on the side of the building is not building. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Central.zip

See attached screen grabs. I wanted the glass upper portion of the pony wall centered in the wall but when I do that the floor below the wall does not build properly. Is there a better way to do this? X9 Beta and the room is a Balcony which controls the wall height with the Ceiling height setting.

Glen, In All the Dim Defaults? I did this in my 1/4" and no joy,

$14,000 was the figure I was told. (not installed) The door is in a "Chief doorway" with a Nano door symbol in it But the door way should be able to be snapped to it with snaps.

Trying to dimension a door opening manually, 19'-7" Nano SGD, but no snaps to the frame of the door. What am I doing wrong? The only snap that will come close is the "On Object" snap which is only snapping to the wall MOL.

Thanks Michael. The Right Click while still holding the Left button down when cursor is OFF Screen does seem to work. Just have to be mindful where you cursor is as you can activate another program if you are in the windows task bar. Still not as easy as click pan click. Wish Chief would allow us that option. Some command work that way.

Perry, if you are selecting corner points across a house 100' you can zoom in to one spot but to get to the other spot 100 feet away would take a lot of arrow keys to get there! For anyone that has use the Click to pick for each point & no drag method this is an incredibly awkward method.

OK this drives me nuts. Would someone enlighten me please? While in a command line draw a line or selecting dimension points or any other similar pick a point command entry. I often need to zoom in to get the EXACT point i need then to drag to the next pick point I need to zoom back out to see where I am going and then zoom in when I get there to pick that final point. How do you manage the Zooming while in a command? Would someone turn the light on please. Thanks

I have a plan & layout file that is a similar project to a new project I want to start. If I save the old Plan file to the new projects folder & rename it to the new project name. How could I reuse the old layout file saving it & renaming it in the new project folder. Do i have to wipe out all traces of the old file & start over with all the saved views & sections?

I have an 8 story building & the first floor has a 15'8" rise so 3 sections & 2 landings. I am not through moving the stair tower walls so I need to STOP the stairs from disconnecting from the landings. Ideally I would block the stair because at this time I do not want it changing. Any suggestions?

When you as Chief to Frame walls can you get Chief to ignore wall framing already created on other floors?
